This is my draft drawing of my own children book!!

I just found out that drawing children book is super fun, my dad gave me a task or a challenge to draw a children book that have 2 character which is a dog and a pig

and this character need to be friend and the background need to have golden field.

So I draft the character and make a character design of the dog and pig but before that, I need to search for Reference first.

And these are The Reference.

I Search for Shiba Inu, Dog that are cute and can stand by two legs like Snoopy.

And this is the Reference I search for the pig.

I want my character to be cute and playful and body cover in mud so my reference is peppa pig, and some cute pig drawing.

And Now I started draw the draft for my character.

I draw 3 version, 3 viwe of my dog.

And this is how it look like.

And my favorite is the first version so I chose that one.

But I atually like all of it the second and third desing I got a drawing Idea from children book cover too.

And now I started draw my pig character.

As same as the dog, I draw 3 version of thepig too.

And this is how it look.

I draw the first version to have a sad looking face because I think it would be cute but it look too sad lol.

The second one, I coverd the pig with mud and make it more rounder than the first ver but I still don't like it so I draw the third version and I think it very cute!!

Actually, I draft the background first.

But I need a Reference too, So I search for Ghibli grass field picture.

Andd this is what I think I will draw.

I think, Ghibli film and Your Name is the best Flim ever!

And the grass field in ghibli is look so real and beatiful, so I want to try that.

So this is my first draft.

But, I want to add a little hut on the back of my picture, so I Search for Ghibli house

and this is what I found.

21-22 Apr

The work is still on process!!

The process right now is painting.

I painted the colud and the grass with blend method again and it made the picture look good but it not finish yet, in the future I might use more method for drawing.

23 Apr

Today, I color the pig and dog, and fix the grass on the mountian to look like it far away from the screen.

I put the light layer or the filtter "add" out and I think it better.

I try to finish this work today!!
