When talking about location Is all about an open surface with no wall surrounding and no border.

Example. I’m on the lake

I’m out on the river

The pen is on the table

But come to transportation, it is about something that is surrounded by a lot of people.

Example. I’m on the plane

We’re on the bus

We’re on the metro

And when talking about time it is used with days of the week or words that end with day.

Example. I have an appointment on Monday

They celebrate on Chritmas’s Day

I’m going to Bangkok on Saturday


At

  • Referring to a specific location

Example. Meet me at my house

We are at the supermarket

I will be at home tomorrow

He is at the party

She is at the concert

And it also use at the specific time hour minute and events

Example. I will be at the doctor at 10:30 am

The train i coming at 12:07 pm

I will arrive at you house at 6:00 am
