Ball of shadow and light

This picture is so famous in drawing community which it help you to practice light and shade skill.

I learn this tips from this video.

And this is my work.

It show me how the light reflect the ball and how where the shadow should be.

I think this picture show a lot of small detail in it but we can't see, I need to see what this picture actually show me!!
